We recommend IVF treatment for couples under 35 years of age and in cases where pregnancy does not occur despite unprotected intercourse for one year and for 35 months if you are older than 6. The methods we recommend can only be stimulation of ovulation, vaccination or in vitro fertilization. We determine which treatment method will be applied with the decision of the specialist doctor. Among the reasons for IVF, there may be various reasons such as obstruction of the tubes, menopause, low male sperm count or low quality. In addition, in vitro fertilization treatment can be tried if there is no result from other long-term infertility treatments (vaccination, ovulation drugs, etc.), although it does not require direct IVF treatment.
Any woman with a healthy uterus can have children. Even if you cannot have a child with your own eggs due to menopause, you can get pregnant with egg donation treatment and hold your child in your arms.
This is possible as long as there is no communication problem between us and the obstetrician in your city. Many of our doctor friends work in many cities, and we can direct you to a close friend of yours to be examined.
It varies depending on the number of follicles in the ovaries. We can say that it will take between 10 and 120 minutes. When the preparations before and after egg collection are also included in the time, the process can be completed within a maximum of 2 hours.
Egg retrieval is a process performed under anesthesia. Therefore, it is a relatively non-painful procedure. The procedure can be done comfortably with sedatives and pain relievers used intravenously during the procedure. Rarely, deeper anesthesia may be required.
A semen sample will also be taken from your partner on the day the eggs are collected. On the same day, embryos are created in the laboratory with a semen sample taken from your spouse and eggs collected from you. 3-5 days of sexual abstinence is recommended before the time when your partner should give sperm.
In father candidates whose sperm cells are not observed in the semen, sperm cells can be found from the sample taken from the testicular tissue with Micro TESE, TESE and TESA operations.
PGD is the process of selecting only healthy embryos and transferring them to the mother after genetic testing of embryos is performed during in vitro fertilization. Other benefits of the PGD process can be summarized as follows;
It increases the success of IVF application in appropriate cases.
  • It increases the pregnancy rate.
  • It reduces the risk of pregnancy resulting in abortion (miscarriage).
  • It reduces the need for medical termination of pregnancy.
  • It reduces the rate of multiple pregnancy.
  • It reduces the economic and psychological burdens of repeated failed IVF attempts.
  • The sex of the baby can be determined.
  • After a short rest after the transfer, you can return home immediately, provided that you do not go on foot. Also, there is no harm in returning to your city by plane.
For egg donation, there is a pre-treatment period of 15 days before the patient comes to Cyprus. You can spend this time where you are. After this preliminary treatment, the duration of stay in Cyprus is at least 2 days and at most 7 days, depending on the patient's treatment status.
If there are many embryos obtained by in vitro fertilization in eggs taken from the woman in the laboratory, they can be frozen and transferred later. In this way, if pregnancy is not achieved in the previous application, the difficulty and cost of the next application are reduced.

It may not be the same in every application, even for the same couple. The factors listed above may vary. A bad embryo can be transferred one month, a good embryo may develop in the next month and pregnancy may occur. Even if there is no other application to improve the chance of pregnancy (hysteroscopy and laparoscopy procedures are performed between two applications when necessary), the chance of pregnancy is different for each application and each embryo.
According to the common decision of all reproductive medicine specialists, if there are enough eggs and a good embryo can develop, the trial can be continued. We have patients who got pregnant on the fifth and seventh try.
This doubt is carried by our patients in a way that is not less. There is no numerical decrease or exhaustion. We enlarge the egg group of that month with drug treatment and collect them. The number obtained that month does not cause a significant decrease in the total number.
The probability of ectopic pregnancy is around 1-3%. The probability of it being both inside and outside the uterus is 0.5%. This is called a heterotopic pregnancy.
Removing the sperm from the testis, having problems such as adhesions, fibroids or polyps that will prevent the embryos from adhering to the uterus, clogged tubes and being full of water adversely affect the success of IVF.
The most important risks are multiple pregnancy and hyperstimulation syndrome.
The most important factor is age. As a woman's age increases, the chances of conceiving decrease. After the age of 44, the chance of pregnancy practically is negligible. Previous sexually transmitted infections, infections affecting the ovaries and tubes also negatively affect the chance of pregnancy.
If the fibroids put pressure on the inner layer of the uterus, that is, where the baby will develop, it affects the chance of pregnancy. Fibroids that have grown out of the uterine wall, on the other hand, do not affect the chance of pregnancy unless they are very large. The clogged tubes make pregnancy impossible.
