Egg freezing is the process of freezing the egg cells (Ovocyte) obtained from the woman's ovary in order to have children in the future.
Women who postpone having a baby due to health, career, economy, responsibility and personal reasons can become parents at any time and without any legal procedures with the egg freezing process.

In the egg freezing process, hormone therapy is applied in the same way as in the IVF treatment. The treatment is started with the period of the patient, hormone injections are used and the number of oocytes to be obtained is increased. The process and follow-up of hormone needles is the same as in vitro fertilization treatment. In egg freezing, oocytes are collected vaginally under anesthesia. The oocytes detected under the microscope in the embryology laboratory are taken into special solutions and placed in special instruments called "incubators". Two hours after the collection of oocytes, the surrounding cells are cleaned and their quality and maturity grades are evaluated. Only quality and mature oocytes are frozen and stored in liquid nitrogen at -196 C. There is no restriction on the storage period.
Every woman is born with a certain number of eggs, and during the reproductive age, this reserve decreases to a certain extent during each menstrual period. After the age of 35, the ovarian reserve and the chance of conceiving naturally decrease gradually.
In addition to the ovarian reserve, which naturally decreases with age, the ovarian reserve of young women may decrease or the ovarian tissues may be damaged due to some medical reasons. Medical reasons that can cause egg laziness:Although the number of eggs of these women is low, their eggs are of high quality because they are young. When these eggs are frozen and stored, even if the woman's age advances, since the eggs are young, there is a higher chance of getting pregnant resulting in healthy babies in the in vitro fertilization treatments applied when the eggs are thawed.
